Responsibilities
- Receive cash, cheques, and credit card transactions from customers and verify funds
- Maintain electronic and manual filing of all banking and cash transactions
- Arrange bank remittance advices and deposit cash/cheques
- Disburse petty cash and conduct daily reconciliation
- Accept credit card payments and forward postdated cheques to finance department
Requirements
- Diploma degree in Accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred
- 3 years of minimum experience in a similar role handling cash operations within a large Group
- Ability to commute/relocate to Dubai

Job Purpose
- Efficiently carry out cash handling activities for the business unit, in line with the Group's cash handling policy.
Key Accountabilities
- Receive cash, current or postdated cheques and credit card transactions as per sales documents or remittance advice.
- Verify funds received and ensure amount collected is as per sales documents, currencies are genuine, and cheques bear security features.
- Maintain electronic and manual filing of all banking and cash transactions and related correspondences.
- Arrange bank remittance advices, hand over cheques and cash to bank teller at prescribed collection time.
- Forward copy of daily cash collection summary, credit card slips, and bank remittance advices to Group finance department.
- Disburse petty cash to various petty cash holders and conduct daily reconciliation.
- Make expense summary on periodic intervals based on petty cash utilization and submit to Group finance department.
- Accept credit card payments through credit card machine and send original slips to Group finance department.
- Forward postdated cheques to Group finance department for retention and deposit.
Qualification
- Diploma degree in Accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent is preferred.
Experience
- 3 years of minimum experience in a similar role handling cash operations within a large Group.
