Ensure fast and accurate checkout service
Cash Handling
Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts
Count money and report discrepancies
Follow company cash-handling procedures carefully
Checkout Area Maintenance
Keep checkout counters clean and organized
Ensure shopping bags and receipt paper are stocked
Maintain professional appearance and customer-friendly service
Store Coordination
Coordinate with supervisors and stock staff when barcode or pricing issues occur
Help monitor promotional pricing and discounts
