Directly manage a team consisting of up to Case Coordination Representatives and Senior Representatives
Thorough understanding of medical terminology and most commonly requested procedures relating to orthopedic and soft-tissue injuries
Ability to quickly assess and make independent decisions on majority of incoming requests
Access and make funding decisions up to $60K, in accordance with established policies and guidelines
Drive process improvements and support department-level growth initiatives.
Develop, update, and maintain departmental policies, SOPs, and playbooks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and cross-functional partners.
Partner with Revenue Cycle, Business Development, Plaintiff Funding, and other internal teams to identify and resolve operational issues.
Performs weekly metrics by reviewing key dashboards, validating data, and identifying trends to ensure accurate case progression and support operational performance.
Oversee case intake, assignment, and audit processes to ensure timely follow-up, accuracy, and adherence to funding commitments
Ensure coverage of all team member duties and manage the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly tasks as assigned inclusive of vacation and sick leave.
Conduct ongoing coaching, training, goal tracking, and performance feedback to support employee development and departmental performance
Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions in partnership with leadership and HR.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
3–5 years of relevant industry or operations experience, including experience leading teams.
Proven leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
Strong technical proficiency and a continuous improvement mindset.
Working knowledge of personal injury workflows, medical terminology, and provider operations.
Highly organized, adaptable, and solution-oriented with excellent communication skills.
