Carrier Sales Representative, Road US

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or customer service (3+ years preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of carrier sales experience with a focus on drayage (3+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of transportation and drayage operations, including carrier regulations and best practices.
• Skills & Competencies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Analytical thinker with strong mathematical aptitude for pricing and rate analysis.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Thrives under pressure and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
• Positive, motivated, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Professional phone presence and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Physical Demands
• Work is primarily sedentary and performed in an office setting, requiring frequent use of a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment. Some movement, such as standing, walking, or light lifting (up to 15 pounds), may be necessary to perform daily tasks or support on-site recruiting events. The role may occasionally require travel to driver terminals, job fairs, or other recruiting locations, which could involve extended periods of standing or walking. Hours may be extended or staggered to support multi-shift recruiting needs and to maintain communication with candidates across time zones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly use their hands for typing and handling documents, as well as engage in frequent talking and listening. Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

• For this position, the expected base pay range is $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
