Carpenter Helper

• Perform all aspects of carpentry work including measuring and cutting

materials, constructing structures, and installing fixtures.

Demolition and site prep

is occasionally required.

• Work with a wide range of tools including power saws, hammers, drills, and hand

tools.

• Assist in the installation and maintenance of interior and exterior finishes such as

drywall, trim, siding, and roofing.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Receive training and guidance from an experienced carpenter.
• Other duties as assigned.

• With 1-2 years experience and reporting to a Licensed Carpenter, you will have the

opportunity to be registered as a 1st or 2nd year apprentice.

• Knowledge of carpentry practices and skill in using tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to try new things and assume additional responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation are required.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time, able to crouch, bend and kneel, as well as

capable of heavy lifting and carrying of materials.

• Able to climb ladders and comfortable working at heights and elevated platforms.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity is essential.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr.
