Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cargo terminal strategies, operational policies, service standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead end to end cargo terminal operations, including cargo acceptance, warehousing, storage, sorting, loading, unloading, shipment processing, dispatch, and delivery coordination
- Collaborate with Air Freight, Ground Handling, Warehousing, Customs Compliance, Security, Transportation, Customer Service, Finance, Procurement, and Executive Leadership
- Manage terminal resources, warehouse capacity, equipment utilization, workforce planning, dock scheduling, and cargo flow
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, customs requirements, dangerous goods regulations, security protocols, occupational health and safety standards, environmental requirements, and organizational policies
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including cargo throughput, shipment turnaround time, on time departures, warehouse utilization, inventory accuracy, cargo damage rates, customer satisfaction, safety performance, and operational costs
- Analyze cargo volumes, workflow performance, staffing levels, and operational data to identify opportunities for productivity improvements and cost optimization
- Oversee cargo documentation, shipment tracking, inventory management, cargo inspections, and chain of custody processes
- Manage relationships with airlines, freight forwarders, customs authorities, logistics providers, transportation companies, warehouse vendors, and regulatory agencies
- Drive digital transformation initiatives through WMS, CMS, TMS, automation technologies, AI powered analytics, IoT enabled cargo tracking, and workflow optimization solutions
- Prepare terminal performance reports, operational dashboards, budget analyses, executive presentations, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop cargo supervisors, warehouse managers, logistics coordinators, terminal operators, and cross functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, Aviation Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cargo operations, terminal management, warehousing, logistics, air freight, or supply chain management
- At least 2 years of experience managing cargo terminals, warehouse operations, logistics teams, or transportation programs preferred
- Strong understanding of cargo terminal operations, warehouse management, freight handling, customs procedures, dangerous goods regulations, aviation security, inventory control, and logistics operations
- Experience with WMS, CMS, TMS, ERP platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, cargo tracking systems, and logistics analytics tools
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, stakeholder management, organizational, budgeting, negotiation, and problem solving skills

- We are seeking an experienced Cargo Terminal Manager to lead cargo terminal operations, warehouse management, and logistics coordination across our facilities.

- Master's degree or professional certifications such as IATA Cargo, FIATA, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cargo operations, terminal management, warehousing, logistics, air freight, or supply chain management.
- At least 2 years of experience managing cargo terminals, warehouse operations, logistics teams, or transportation programs preferred.
- Strong understanding of cargo terminal operations, warehouse management, freight handling, customs procedures, dangerous goods regulations, aviation security, inventory control, and logistics operations.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Cargo Management Systems (CMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, cargo tracking systems, and logistics analytics tools.
- Familiarity with automation technologies, AI powered logistics solutions, IoT enabled warehouse operations, digital cargo platforms, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
