Job Description
The Cargo Sales Representative develops cargo business and relationships with agents, customers, and industry companies in the assigned region.
The role supports cargo sales, service performance, market development, and compliance with cargo procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with agents, customers, and industry companies and find new markets.
- Announce fares, charges, regulations, and innovations to agents.
- Assess available and potential cargo in the region and report findings to the Regional Cargo Manager when required.
- Improve cooperation with cargo agents and other airlines to find cargo for company flights.
- Visit agents and conduct sales and marketing activities according to the marketing program.
- Monitor and implement procedures, instructions, and international publications regarding cargo charges and regulations.
- Support systematic cargo sales and service performance in the region.
- Contribute to process targets in accordance with company policies.
- Securely manage official air waybill stock and ensure compliant distribution and transactions.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum high school graduation.
- An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in cargo or logistics.
- Good command of English and local language(s).
- Knowledge of cargo operations, including airline cargo sales and pricing strategies.
- Competency with MS Office products.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Professional and courteous communication with coworkers and business contacts.
