- Provide attentive, nurturing, and safe care for infants, toddlers, or children.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs.
- Maintain children’s schedules, including naps, meals, school, and activities.
- Support children’s emotional, social, and behavioral development through positive interaction.
- Organize age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
- Help with homework, reading, and early learning activities when required.
- Monitor children’s health and report any concerns to parents or guardians.
- Administer medications as instructed by parents or healthcare professionals.
- Accompany children to school, appointments, parks, or extracurricular activities if needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment.
- Wash and organize children’s clothing, toys, and personal items.
- Practice emergency and first-aid procedures when necessary.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress, behavior, and daily activities.
Safety And Care Duties
- Ensure child safety inside and outside the home.
- Follow hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Observe and respond appropriately to signs of illness, injury, or emotional distress.
- Implement household rules and discipline methods approved by parents.
- Keep emergency contact information readily available.
