About the role
- The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will drive business performance through compliance to the Quality Management System, and achieve business and quality objectives by leading divisional quality functions, processes, personnel and resources.
Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and maintain the quality standards on site to ensure employee awareness and their contribution to achieving Quality objectives.
- Develop a health and safety culture within the Quality department to increase awareness and minimize accidents.
- Manage quality investigation systems to identify root cause(s) & implement effective corrective action to reduce NCN’s Customer/consumer complaints, wastage and final product dumps.
- Manage all Laboratory functions to ensure reliable results to ensure product integrity and legislative compliances of Poultry product within staff and budgetary limits.
- Develop and train staff to optimize departmental performance and flexibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food science or equivalent.
- 5 10 years of experience in Chilled Food Industry.
- HACCP Certified.
- ISO 9001/22000/14001/AIBI/FSSC 22000
