Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance function within the poultry processing plant
- Ensure full compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC, GMP, SSOP)
- Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) across plant operations
- Conduct and manage internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues
- Oversee laboratory operations, microbiological testing, and product quality evaluation
- Ensure effective traceability, product release, and non conformance management
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams for quality improvements
- Lead and develop the QA team, including training and performance management
- Maintain compliance with local regulations and international food safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Veterinary Science, or related field
- Minimum 8 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing, preferably poultry/meat processing
- At least 3 5 years in a leadership/managerial role
- Strong knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, and quality systems
- Hands on experience with audits, certifications, and regulatory compliance
- Expertise in HACCP, ISO, FSSC, GMP, SSOP

About the Role
- We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to lead and manage all quality and food safety activities within our poultry processing plant.
- The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and international quality systems while driving continuous improvement in product quality and food safety.
