- Lead and manage the Utilities & Maintenance team to ensure uninterrupted plant operations
- Oversee operation, maintenance, and optimization of all utility systems including power distribution, refrigeration, boilers, air compressors, water treatment, and HVAC
- Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM/PPM) plans for all utility equipment
- Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of utilities to support production targets
- Monitor and control energy consumption and utility costs
- Lead engineering projects including upgrades, modifications, and new installations
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) and food safety standards
- Manage budgets (OPEX & CAPEX) and optimize resource utilization
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / TPM / Six Sigma)
- Develop and train engineering staff to build team capability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial or related)
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in utilities/maintenance within food manufacturing / poultry / FMCG / processing plants
- Strong hands on experience in industrial utilities systems (refrigeration, boilers, compressors, water systems)
- Proven experience in managing maintenance teams and plant operations
- Experience in poultry or meat processing plants
- Knowledge of Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with SAP PM or similar maintenance systems

Role Overview
- Seeking an experienced Engineering Manager – Utilities to lead and manage all utility operations within a high volume poultry processing plant.
- The role ensures reliable, efficient, and cost effective delivery of utilities (steam, refrigeration, water, compressed air, etc.) to support continuous production operations.
- Responsible for maintaining high equipment reliability, driving efficiency improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Utilities & Maintenance team to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Oversee operation, maintenance, and optimization of all utility systems including power distribution, refrigeration (Ammonia systems), boilers & steam systems, air compressors, water treatment & effluent treatment plants, HVAC and cooling systems.
- Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM/PPM) plans for all utility equipment.
- Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of utilities to support production targets.
- Monitor and control energy consumption and utility costs.
- Lead engineering projects, including upgrades, modifications, and new installations.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 8+ years of experience in utilities/maintenance within food manufacturing / poultry / FMCG / processing plants.
- Strong hands on experience in industrial utilities systems (refrigeration, boilers, compressors, water systems).
- Proven experience in managing maintenance teams and plant operations.
- Experience in poultry or meat processing plants.
