Qualifications
- Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Technical understanding of circuit design, control, noise sources, and component selection
- Strong technical background, with the ability to produce high quality technical documentation
- Familiarity with lab equipment and debugging
- Understanding of analog/embedded processing IC's and their application
- ITAR Restriction: All candidates for this ITAR restricted position must be one of the following: US Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee or otherwise lawfully admitted under an amnesty program.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher
- Experience in system level board design, schematics, layout, testing and validation
- Proficient with analog electronics design, analysis, and simulation tools. Altium, PSpice, and PLECS/SIMPLIS experience is preferred
- Ability to generate system level proposals (e.g. block diagrams)
- Be active with team work and willing to work with pressure. Adapt to change well
- Excellent communication with global customer and TI teams.
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery. Ability to dynamically reprioritize tasks as needs change.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Able to understand system requirements and design trade-offs.
- Experience with embedded software programming. Experience with microcontrollers (e.g. C2000), digital controllers, etc. is preferred
- Ability to do worst case analysis and error analysis
- Awareness of procedures and processes used during high volume production of electronics systems
