Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces
- Clean and inspect guest rooms including flipping mattresses, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning
- Perform minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes
- Report serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards to manager
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures

- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Less than 1 year related work experience
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods

Position Summary
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, (CARE, RPM, GCPM), meeting rooms, and/or public spaces as required.
- Maintain, repair and clean all guest rooms in accordance with the property room preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.
Duties
- Flipping/inspecting mattresses, box springs and assembling bed frames.
- Vacuuming behind and underneath furniture, spot cleaning carpets and upholstery.
- Dusting, touch up painting, touch up furniture.
- Ensuring all necessary hardware and appliances are present and in working order.
- Replacing light fixtures, inspecting and repairing grout and caulking.
- Performing miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.
- Performing general cleaning of all guestroom surfaces.
- Reporting any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager/supervisor.
- Following all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards.
- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others.
- Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: None
