Full Job Posting
No experience? No problem. A big heart? That's what we're looking for.
Ever had one of those days where a small act of kindness made everything better? That's basically the job description. As a Domiciliary Care Worker with The Care Bureau, you'll help people live independently, safely, and happily in their own homes — and you'll go home every day knowing you've genuinely made a difference to someone's life.
Whether you're completely new to care and looking for a role with real purpose, or you're an experienced carer looking for a team that has your back, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same. You might be:
Helping someone get washed, dressed and ready to start their day
Making a cuppa and a bit of breakfast, and staying for a chat
Popping to the shops or picking up a prescription
Giving someone a hand with their medication
Doing a bit of light housework, laundry or bed-making
Simply being there — company, conversation, and a friendly face
It's hands-on, it's varied, and it genuinely matters. You'll be supporting people to stay independent, comfortable and dignified in their own homes, working around flexible hours between 6:30am and 10:30pm to suit your life.
What We're Looking For
A caring, patient and reliable nature
Good communication skills
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (required, for getting between visits)
Willingness to learn — full training is provided, so previous care experience isn't essential
A DBS check will be required (don't worry, we cover the cost — see below!)
If you're kind, dependable and want a job where you can really see the difference you make, that's the most important quality we look for.

Why Care Work?
Because it's real. Because you'll build genuine relationships with the people you support. Because every visit, however small it might seem, can be the highlight of someone's day. If this sounds like you — whether you're starting your very first job in care or bringing years of experience — we'd love to hear from you.
