PaymentGenes is supporting a leading financial institution in Doha to find a Cards Analytics Specialist for a 12-month contract. The role involves building portfolio performance dashboards, analyzing card metrics, measuring campaign effectiveness, and providing insights to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain portfolio performance reporting and dashboards covering key card metrics
- Analyze card portfolio performance through segmentation, customer cohorts, product analysis, and trend identification
- Measure campaign effectiveness through pre/post analysis, customer segmentation, ROI measurement, and uplift analysis
- Develop dashboards and self service reporting solutions using Power BI or Tableau
- Provide analytical insights and recommendations to Cards Product, Marketing, Risk, Finance, and senior leadership teams
- Improve reporting processes through automation, data quality improvements, and enhanced analytics capabilities
- Translate data findings into clear business recommendations linked to portfolio growth and profitability
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in cards analytics, portfolio analytics, business intelligence, or customer analytics within banking, payments, or fintech
- Strong understanding of card portfolio performance metrics including acquisition, activation, spend, retention, attrition, profitability, credit performance, and risk indicators
- Experience analyzing campaign performance, customer segments, and commercial outcomes
- Strong SQL skills with experience working with large datasets
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools
- Strong communication skills with ability to present insights to senior stakeholders

Role Overview

- The role supports Cards Product and Portfolio teams with data driven insights across the full card lifecycle.
- The successful candidate will own portfolio reporting, analyze performance trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and translate data into actionable recommendations.

Preferred Experience

- Understanding of card P&L drivers such as interchange income, fees, costs, and profitability.
