Position Summary

Coordinate banquet and restaurant service, prepare dining and event areas, and communicate service needs to culinary and stewarding teams.

Support guest satisfaction, billing, table service, cleanliness, quality standards, and safe food and beverage operations.

Food and Beverage Duties

  • Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards throughout functions.
  • Calculate group-function charges and present checks to group contacts for payment.
  • Prepare banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee-break areas for service.
  • Display appropriate centerpieces and inspect the cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver.
  • Set tables according to the event type and service standards.
  • Communicate allergies, dietary needs, meal requirements, and special requests to the kitchen.
  • Maintain clean work areas and check with guests to ensure satisfaction.

Service and Safety Standards

  • Follow company, safety, and security policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
  • Complete safety training and certifications, maintain professional appearance, and protect company assets and confidential information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests, communicate professionally, support team goals, and maintain quality standards.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • No license or certification is required according to the source posting.

Workplace and Physical Requirements

  • The position is full time and not remote, with work performed in banquet, restaurant, and event areas at the hotel property in Madinah.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods while performing service duties.
