Position Summary
Serve as Captain-Bellstand at a Marriott property in Umm Al Qura, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Welcome guests, provide property and local information, manage luggage services, coordinate transportation, and follow up on guest requests.
Support management with employee coaching and other bellstand operations.
Guest and Bellstand Services
- Greet guests, open doors, assist with vehicles, and explain property amenities, services, operating hours, and local activities.
- Store, retrieve, and transport luggage to and from guest rooms or designated bell areas.
- Arrange taxis, shuttles, limousine or sedan services, and record advance transportation requests.
- Dispatch bell or valet staff, explain parking procedures, and provide directions.
- Follow up with guests to confirm that requests and problems are resolved satisfactorily.
Standards and Team Support
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Maintain positive working relationships and follow company policies, safety procedures, quality standards, and confidentiality requirements.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, communicate professionally, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
