Role Overview
The Capital Planning Analyst provides analytical support for capital planning under the supervision of the Capital Planning Program Manager.
The role handles large volumes of information and data, supports data integrity, and contributes to capital planning and strategic asset management.
Capital Planning
- Execute capital plan deliverables and maintain changes to the capital plan and budgets.
- Triage and track project requests from clients, facility management, and project management teams.
- Create projects from building condition assessment data and recommend scopes, justifications, and high-level estimates.
- Evaluate cost estimates for maintenance, replacement, and repair of building components and systems.
- Integrate information from sources such as roof inspection data.
Data Analysis
- Maintain capital planning data integrity within information management systems, including BGIS proprietary systems.
- Compile and maintain large volumes of data for reporting, benchmarking, and analytical requirements.
- Perform ad hoc calculations and analysis to support client communication and decision-making.
