Job Purpose

  • The role holder is responsible for effectively creating, executing Capital Markets Sales products and FX flow for the banks Financial Institutions, Corporate Clients, and Individual clients supporting the Group Head of Capital Markets Sales in implementing the sales strategy and achieving the set bu

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing marketing material for CM sales products, which includes pricing, structuring and reflecting the correct charges in the proposals for clients, and ensuring the full adherence to the sharia principles.
  • Ensure that all scenario analysis is reflected correctly in client presentations.
  • Responsible for cross selling all treasury and capital market products including FX, structured products, fixed income, structured deposits, mutual funds and any other future product to enhance the profitability of the Bank.
  • Prepare marketing materials, including presentations, pitch books and market updates as required.
  • Work with relevant bank units including Coverage, Credit Administration, Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to the bank policies and procedure.
  • Responsible for meeting the division ancillary budget for the year, as well as working with Capital Market Sales team to achieve stated targets.
  • To undertake additional assignments and responsibilities required by the Group Head of Capital Markets Sales.
  • Interact with customers and potential clients on a periodic basis to maintain relationships and propose required solutions for the bank clients.
  • Continuous interaction with Coverage team to ensure full understanding of the client requirements.
  • Promote sales of Capital Market products through frequent client meetings and discussion covering new products, market and industry developments.
  • Stay abreast with the market dynamics and trends to enable timely market update to clients during regular phone call or physical meetings.
  • Develop Marketing and people’s skills to propose solutions to clients.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline is required.
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Professional qualification such as CFA, ACI Diploma, PRM, and/or FRM are preferred
  • Minimum 5 6 years of practical experience in a bank with 3 years in the same or similar function.
