Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise capacity planning strategies, governance frameworks, forecasting methodologies, and operational standards
- Lead capacity planning activities across workforce, operations, production, technology, facilities, and service delivery functions
- Collaborate with operations, workforce planning, finance, supply chain, production, IT, project management, customer service, procurement, and executive leadership
- Develop demand forecasts using historical performance, market trends, seasonal patterns, business growth projections, predictive analytics, and scenario planning
- Monitor KPIs including capacity utilization, forecast accuracy, resource availability, production efficiency, service levels, throughput, operational costs, and customer satisfaction
- Analyze capacity constraints, workload trends, resource bottlenecks, and operational risks while recommending solutions
- Establish capacity models, resource allocation frameworks, contingency plans, and scaling strategies
- Conduct scenario planning, what if analyses, business impact assessments, and investment evaluations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing workflow optimization, automation technologies, AI powered forecasting, and data driven planning practices
- Utilize ERP systems, WFM platforms, MES, PPM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and analytics solutions to monitor capacity performance
- Prepare capacity planning reports, demand forecasts, executive dashboards, resource utilization analyses, business cases, and strategic recommendations
- Lead, mentor, and develop capacity planners, workforce analysts, operations planners, and cross functional stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in capacity planning, demand planning, workforce planning, operations management, supply chain, or related roles
- Strong understanding of capacity planning, demand forecasting, resource optimization, and business analytics principles
- Experience with ERP systems, WFM platforms, MES, PPM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and business intelligence platforms

The Role
- We are seeking an experienced Capacity Planning Manager to lead enterprise capacity planning, demand forecasting, and resource optimization initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will develop long term and short term capacity strategies, analyze business demand, optimize resource utilization, and ensure operational readiness while balancing service levels, cost efficiency, and organizational growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise capacity planning strategies, governance frameworks, forecasting methodologies, and operational standards aligned with organizational objectives and business growth plans.
- Lead capacity planning activities across workforce, operations, production, technology, facilities, and service delivery functions to ensure adequate resources are available to meet current and future demand.
- Collaborate with operations, workforce planning, finance, supply chain, production, information technology, project management, customer service, procurement, and executive leadership to align capacity plans with strategic priorities and operational requirements.
- Develop demand forecasts using historical performance, market trends, seasonal patterns, business growth projections, predictive analytics, and scenario planning techniques.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including capacity utilization, forecast accuracy, resource availability, production efficiency, service levels, throughput, operational costs, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze capacity constraints, workload trends, resource bottlenecks, and operational risks while recommending solutions to optimize performance and support business continuity.
- Establish capacity models, resource allocation frameworks, contingency plans, and scaling strategies to improve operational resilience and support organizational growth.

- Lead, mentor, and develop capacity planners, workforce analysts, operations planners, and cross functional stakeholders while fostering a culture of collaboration, operational excellence, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Master's degree or professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), or equivalent are advantageous.
- 5+ years of experience in capacity planning, demand planning, workforce planning, operations management, supply chain, production planning, or related roles.
- 2+ years of experience managing enterprise capacity planning programs, forecasting teams, or cross functional planning initiatives preferred.
- Strong understanding of capacity planning, demand forecasting, resource optimization, workforce planning, production planning, operations management, statistical forecasting, and business analytics principles.
- Experience with ERP systems, Workforce Management (WFM) platforms, MES, PPM tools, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), Power BI, business intelligence platforms, and predictive analytics tools.
