Position Summary

  • The People Lead supports the Store Manager and leadership team by leading human resources functions that promote compliance, engagement, and operational excellence.
  • This role ensures fair and consistent employment practices, develops talent, and fosters a culture aligned with Walmart’s values through effective communication, training, and digital innovation.

What You'll Do

  • Assists leadership with associate recruitment, hiring, staffing, development, succession planning, scheduling, attendance, and performance needs by identifying and analyzing HR related issues; and providing guidance on the execution of company HR programs and initiatives.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements HR practices and action plans to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co workers, customers, and other business partners; analyzing and applying data from multiple resources to ensure accuracy; monitoring strategy progress and results; and identi
  • Supports and advocates for associates by modeling Walmart core values; striving to ensure excellence and respect are incorporated into daily routines, store meetings, and communications; encouraging associates to lead by example and act with integrity; and correcting and/or reporting issues or conce

Pay

  • The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $20.85 per hour.
