March of Dimes Canada is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional for the role of Campaign Coordinator as we prepare to launch a landmark, multi-year comprehensive fundraising campaign.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Leadership Giving, the Campaign Coordinator will provide administrative, project, and donor engagement support to the philanthropy team. The successful candidate will play an important role in coordinating campaign activities, maintaining accurate donor and prospect records, supporting stewardship initiatives, and helping to ensure the timely execution of campaign plans and priorities.
A highly organized and collaborative team member, the Campaign Coordinator will work closely with philanthropy colleagues, program staff, senior leadership, volunteers, and external stakeholders to support the achievement of campaign goals. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in fundraising and philanthropy while gaining exposure to major gifts, campaign strategy, donor stewardship, and project management.
Responsible for supporting campaign operations, the Campaign Coordinator will help drive the successful implementation of campaign initiatives through effective planning, coordination, and communication. The incumbent will assist with prospect research, donor correspondence, meeting and event logistics, campaign reporting, and database management, ensuring a high level of accuracy and professionalism in all aspects of their work.

Assist with monitoring campaign activities, timelines, milestones, and deliverables to support the achievement of fundraising goals.

Assist with the preparation of donor proposals, gift agreements, partnership agreements, stewardship reports, and recognition materials.
Support the implementation of donor and partner recognition strategies to ensure meaningful engagement and stewardship.
Stakeholder & Volunteer Engagement
Collaborate with internal teams to support the identification, segmentation, cultivation, and stewardship of donors and campaign supporters.
Assist in building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, helping to foster engagement and support for campaign objectives.
Provide administrative and logistical support to campaign volunteers, committees, and volunteer leaders, including meeting preparation, progress reporting, and follow-up activities.
Participate in campaign committees and support the implementation of committee action items.
Communications & Marketing Support
Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to coordinate campaign materials, presentations, donor communications, and engagement resources.
Assist in ensuring campaign messaging and materials are customized and distributed effectively to targeted audiences.
Support campaign events, donor recognition initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Data Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor, prospect, and campaign records within the CRM. Track campaign activity, donor interactions, and fundraising progress, preparing reports and dashboards as required.
Support campaign budget tracking and reporting by gathering information, monitoring expenses, and assisting with progress updates.
Ensure gifts, pledges, and donor activities are accurately recorded and appropriately recognized in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
Assist with the collection, organization, and analysis of campaign data to support ongoing evaluation and reporting.
Contribute to campaign reviews and post-campaign evaluations by compiling information, documenting lessons learned, and preparing summary reports.
Identify opportunities to improve campaign processes, workflow efficiencies, and administrative practices.
Operations
Act as a professional ambassador for March of Dimes Canada, representing the organization's mission, vision, values, and impact in all interactions with donors, volunteers, and stakeholders.
Support a collaborative, inclusive, and donor-centric culture that advances the success of the campaign and broader philanthropy goals.
Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned in support of the campaign and the Philanthropy team.
Respond to complex and sensitive donor, volunteer, stakeholder, and campaign-related inquiries, exercising sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
Prepare, reconcile, and maintain complex and confidential campaign documentation, reports, donor records, stewardship tracking, pledge schedules, and related fundraising data.
Provide strategic administrative and project coordination support for executive meetings, campaign leadership meetings, volunteer committees, and campaign governance activities, including preparation of agendas, briefing materials, presentations, and reports.
Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across departments to facilitate the exchange of complex information and support campaign objectives.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, donors, vendors, consultants, and community partners to ensure campaign deliverables and service requirements are met.
Identify, investigate, and resolve complex administrative and operational issues related to campaign activities, escalating matters and providing recommendations as appropriate.
Provide guidance, orientation, training, and day-to-day support to staff, volunteers, students, and new team members involved in campaign activities as required.
QUALI FICATIONS:
Post-secondary education in fundraising, nonprofit management, business administration, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, project coordination, administration, communications, events, or a related role, preferably within the nonprofit or charitable sector.
Exposure to fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, event planning, volunteer engagement, or philanthropy operations is considered an asset.
Understanding of fundraising principles and the donor relationship cycle, with a strong interest in building a career in philanthropy and campaign fundraising.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly in data entry, reporting, and donor record management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with donors, volunteers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across diverse groups.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong administrative skills, including meeting coordination, document preparation, scheduling, and record management.
Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to gather, organize, and interpret information to support decision-making and campaign activities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Experience using donor databases, CRM systems (such as Salesforce), and reporting tools is considered an asset.
Comfortable learning and using new technologies, systems, and digital collaboration tools.
Sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive donor and organizational information.
Positive, proactive, and service-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and contribute to team success.
Ability to work in a results-oriented environment and contribute to achieving campaign and fundraising goals.

Experience coordinating projects, committees, working groups, or cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, senior leaders, volunteers, donors, and external partners.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and service delivery.
Experience with budget tracking, expense reconciliation, and administrative financial processes is considered an asset.

Salary: $44,156 - $55,195 per annum
