Camera Rental Operations Supervisor

Main Purpose

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in camera rental, photography, videography, media production, or a similar field are required.
• Good knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, and other camera equipment is required.
• Experience handling and checking professional camera equipment is required.
• Good understanding of equipment rental procedures is required.
• Good communication, customer service, organization, and time-management skills are required.
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and inventory systems, are required.
• Ability to identify equipment damage or missing items is required.
• UAE experience and a driving license are advantageous.

Equipment Responsibilities

• Manage the company's camera and equipment inventory.
• Check equipment before and after every rental.
• Ensure equipment is clean, working, and ready for the next customer.
• Record damaged, missing, or faulty equipment.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance when required.
• Manage batteries, memory cards, and accessories.

Rentals and Customers

• Handle customer rental requests and bookings.
• Recommend suitable equipment based on customer requirements.
• Prepare equipment for customer collection and check it when customers return it.
• Explain basic equipment handling and rental conditions to customers.
• Handle customer questions and complaints.

Inventory and Records

• Keep accurate records of all equipment.
• Track equipment that is available, rented, returned, under maintenance, or damaged.
• Monitor equipment accessories and consumables.
• Update inventory records regularly.
• Report missing or damaged equipment to management.

Operations

• Coordinate the daily rental schedule and ensure equipment is available for confirmed bookings.
• Coordinate delivery or collection if the company offers delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers for equipment purchases, repairs, and accessories.
• Assist management in deciding which equipment should be purchased based on customer demand.

Management Reporting

• Provide regular updates on equipment rented and available.
• Report damaged or missing equipment, customer issues, and maintenance requirements.
• Report popular equipment and equipment that may need to be purchased.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,000 to AED 6,000 per month.

Work Location

• Work is performed in person.
