Responsibilities
- Develop and implement calibration strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with ISO/IEC 17025 and industry standards
- Oversee calibration activities for instruments, tools, gauges, sensors, and testing equipment across multiple operational sites
- Establish and maintain calibration schedules, traceability systems, and measurement uncertainty documentation
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, maintenance, production, and safety teams
- Monitor KPIs including calibration compliance rate, turnaround time, audit findings, equipment downtime, measurement accuracy, and traceability integrity
- Manage calibration laboratories, tools, reference standards, and metrology systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, internal quality systems, and customer specifications
- Conduct internal and external audits, inspections, and corrective action processes related to calibration and measurement systems
- Evaluate and approve calibration procedures, technical methodologies, and measurement system analyses (MSA)
- Implement calibration management software, asset tracking systems, and digital documentation tools
- Identify risks related to measurement errors, equipment failure, non compliance, and operational inaccuracies
- Prepare calibration reports, audit documentation, technical analyses, compliance records, and executive summaries
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metrology, Physics, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in calibration, metrology, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, or related technical roles
- 2+ years of experience managing calibration programs, laboratory operations, or technical teams preferred
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement systems analysis, ISO standards, instrumentation, and quality assurance systems
- Experience with calibration management systems, CMMS tools, ERP systems, measurement equipment software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, auditing processes, uncertainty analysis, and industrial quality systems is advantageous
- Strong analytical, technical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities

- 5+ years of experience in calibration, metrology, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, or related technical roles
- 2+ years of experience managing calibration programs, laboratory operations, or technical teams preferred
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement systems analysis, ISO standards, instrumentation, and quality assurance systems
- Experience with calibration management systems, CMMS tools, ERP systems, measurement equipment software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, auditing processes, uncertainty analysis, and industrial quality systems is advantageous
- Strong analytical, technical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities
