The Cake Lab is seeking an Operations Assistant to support daily operations, order preparation, and quality control in a bakery environment. The role involves managing orders, maintaining cleanliness, assisting baking and decorating teams, and providing customer service.

Responsibilities
- Enter all orders from partners and the website accurately
- Ensure all cake orders are packed and ready for timely delivery or pick up
- Serve as a quality checker to confirm products meet client specifications and company standards
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the shop and ensure machinery is well maintained
- Manage inventory of boxes and boards, placing orders as needed
- Capture photos of customized cakes and desserts according to standards
- Organize deliveries and print invoices
- Support the baking and decorating team by sourcing materials and printing patterns or graphics
- Communicate respectfully with partners and delivery agents
- Assist customers with product inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or Operations (MBA preferred)
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks

- Address and communicate any delivery delays or issues to the Operations and Admin Manager.

- Communicate respectfully with partners and delivery agents.
- Assist customers with product inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Operations (MBA Preferred)
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Pay
- AED 2,500.00 AED 3,500.00 per month
