Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service
- Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS/cash register
- Process cash, card, and digital payments
- Prepare salads, sandwiches, açaí bowls, beverages, and other menu items according to company standards
- Pack takeaway and delivery orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure food is prepared with high quality, consistency, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, service area, and dining area
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times
- Monitor stock levels and notify the supervisor when supplies need replenishing
- Assist with opening, closing, and other daily operational tasks
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient café operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or food service environment
- Experience operating a POS system and handling cash
- Basic food preparation experience (salads, sandwiches, beverages, or similar)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Positive attitude, reliable, and willing to learn
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Basic English communication skills

About the Role
