Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and skilled Barista to join our team for a temporary 1 month contract.
As the face of our cafe, you will be responsible for crafting and serving delicious coffee and other beverages with a focus on quality and presentation.
You will also play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about coffee, enjoys interacting with people, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks (espresso-based, brewed, etc.), teas, and other beverages according to cafe standards and customer requests.
- Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and other necessary tools.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, using the POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and friendly experience for every guest.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the bar, seating area, and service stations.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Restock supplies and inform management when inventory is low.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
- Stay updated on new coffee trends and techniques.
- Engage with customers and build rapport.
Qualifications And Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista.
- Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Ability to prepare a wide range of coffee beverages consistently and to a high standard.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a passion for coffee and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
