Field Work Arrangement: This is a field-based position that requires up to 75% travel to dealerships within the assigned territory on a recurring basis.
The selected candidate must currently reside within the territory or be willing to relocate to Charlotte or a surrounding area approved by leadership within 60 days of the start date.

As a District Sales Manager, you'll help lead the transformation of the automotive industry by connecting dealers with the products, technologies, and strategies shaping the future of mobility.
You'll work side-by-side with dealer partners to deliver business results, accelerate EV adoption, enhance customer experiences, and bring innovative solutions to market.

What You’ll Do
Act as a liaison between GM, its dealerships, and additional GM Partners
Grow and foster partnerships
Facilitate mentorship and consulting to ensure monthly/yearly sales objectives are met
Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) or other customer feedback resources to identify and address deficiencies or opportunities
Assist in product launches to ensure streamlined marketing and advertising between dealer, independent aftermarket (IAM) and GM
Monitor Dealership personnel training and ensure compliance with GM requirements/objectives
Assist with Dealership inventory management, including vehicle and or parts ordering and inventory stabilizing
Analyze Dealer sales, local market, and competition to identify revenue opportunities
Increase sales of GM vehicles and Accessory parts to its customers
Assist in customer problem resolution
Travel to your dealers in your designated region
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or demonstrated equivalent professional experience
2+ years' experience in Sales, Marketing, or related fields with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools
Ability to travel up to 75% to different locations within your territory
Must possess and maintain the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle in accordance with the licensing requirements of the states in which work is performed
