Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical components, systems, and technical specifications through the Stage Gate product development process.
• Create SolidWorks parts, assemblies, drafts, bills of materials, and engineering change orders.
• Use PDM systems for design traceability and version control.
• Apply GD&T and welding standards in design and drafting work.
• Use FEA and other engineering analysis tools to evaluate structural, thermal, and fatigue performance.
• Communicate designs, specifications, and project updates with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• The role requires 3–5 years of experience and mandatory CAD tools capability.
• Candidates must be able to design mechanical components and systems and produce technical specifications.
• Candidates must have SolidWorks experience covering part modeling, assembly, and drafting.
• Experience with PDM systems, bills of materials, engineering change orders, GD&T, FEA, and welding standards is required.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Technical skills

• SolidWorks, including part modeling, assembly, and drafting.
• SolidWorks PDM Works for traceability and version control.
• GD&T, FEA, structural analysis, thermal analysis, and fatigue analysis.
• Welding standards such as AWS and ISO.
• Technical communication with cross-functional engineering teams.
