CAD Designer

Education and/or Experience

Certifications and/or Licensing Requirements

• AutoCAD certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of and ability to utilize AutoCAD. • Developing knowledge of and ability to utilize Civil 3D, Revit, and other 3D rendering software. • Knowledge of architectural and mechanical drafting tools. • Knowledge of heavy civil temporary works constructability and construction practices. • Knowledge of 2D and 3D presentation of designs. • Self-motivated and able to take direction from leaders to deliver upon objectives. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders effectively and efficiently. • Ability to multi-task and keep self accountable for timely delivery of objectives. • Ability and desire to learn aspects of CAD design. • Ability to support team members in their learning & development and support the review of work products as needed. • Ability to present drawings and diagrams to teams/leadership as needed.
