Role Overview
Create, develop, and optimize detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for complex mechanical components and electromechanical sub-assemblies.
Bridge mechanical packaging and electronic integration while working directly with hardware engineers on production-ready designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop parametric 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings for enclosures, mounting brackets, structural components, and electronic packaging.
- Import PCB STEP or IDF layouts into MCAD environments and verify fitment, keep-out zones, cable or harness routing, and component clearances.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analyses to verify part interchangeability and fit across multi-component sub-assemblies.
- Apply DFM, DFA, and DFT principles to sheet metal, injection-molded, machined, and additive-manufactured parts.
- Generate and maintain BOMs, engineering revision histories, and documentation using PDM or PLM software.
- Collaborate with machine shops, 3D printing labs, and assembly technicians to fabricate and evaluate physical prototypes.
Compensation
- Pay is ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month.
