C++ Software Engineer

MORSE is seeking highly motivated and talented C++ Software Engineers to join our innovative team, supporting various projects that provide hardware-software interfaces, simulation, and real time capabilities to a diverse range of Department of Defense (DoD) customers.

As a C++ Software Engineer at MORSE, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, contributing to the success of our applications and embedded software and making a meaningful impact on our customers.

You will collaborate with a teams of engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products that meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and reliability.

• Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications using C++ and Python
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharing
• Interface with hardware including boards, sensors, cameras, GPS receivers, radios, and microcontrollers
• Stay up-to-date with the latest software engineering trends, tools, and technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products, ensuring seamless integration and deployment
• Contribute to the development of new codebases that emphasize object-orientation, modularity, and maintainability

• US citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or significant professional experience)
