Role Overview
The Buyer is a key member of the Procurement team, responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material supply across both internal manufacturing and external manufacturing partners.
The role requires a highly organised, proactive and commercially aware individual who can independently manage a demanding purchasing portfolio, maintain accurate control of the supplier orderbook and drive material availability to support business requirements.
Success in this role depends on the ability to prioritise effectively, work at pace, communicate confidently with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and take ownership of purchasing activities from initial demand through to material receipt.Working closely with Production Planning, Logistics, Finance and Suppliers, the Buyer plays a critical role in maintaining service levels, supporting inventory strategy and continually improving procurement performance.
