Position Summary
Provide personalized, anticipatory service and attention to guest needs.
Support guest arrivals, VIP room preparation, check-in, in-room service, and laundry coordination.
Guest Service Responsibilities
- Prepare notes for new arrivals and communicate guest preferences across hotel operations.
- Coordinate VIP room preparation with the front desk and double-check room details against guest expectations.
- Escort early arrivals and VIP guests to their rooms and anticipate needs during check-in.
- Complete butler flags from reservations, sales, and other departments and send pre-arrival emails.
- Work with Guest Services and Engineering on guest requests.
- Collect laundry requests, follow up on delivery, and return laundry promptly.
Standards and Teamwork
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Follow company policies, maintain a clean professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
- Welcome guests, address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
- Maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and comply with quality assurance standards.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds and remain standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience is required.
- No supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is required.
