Position summary
Provide personalized service and attention to fulfill guest needs at the Palm Jumeirah property.
Coordinate VIP arrivals, room preparation, guest requests, and service delivery across hotel departments.
Guest service duties
- Deliver coffee and tea upon request and anticipate individual guest needs.
- Prepare new-arrival notes and communicate guest preferences to hotel operations.
- Coordinate VIP room preparation and escort VIP and early-arriving guests.
- Check room keys and confirm room details meet guest expectations.
- Complete butler flags entered by reservation, sales, and other departments.
- Send pre-arrival emails and support guest preparation before arrival.
- Coordinate with Guest Services and Engineering on guest requests.
- Collect, follow up on, and promptly return guest laundry requests.
Operational standards
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Follow company policies, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and protect confidential information and company assets.
- Welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and address service needs according to company standards.
- Communicate professionally, prepare written documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
