Currently hiring a Business Transformation Specialist AI Strategy for a global IT SaaS client in the Toronto area.
Ideal candidate comes from a large consulting firm with experience working with various client groups on AI strategy.

Innovation and Applied AI (50%): Partner with senior leaders to push innovation by developing frameworks, approaches, and use cases where AI can help re invent processes and business models.
Value Creation and Transformation (30%): Identify, develop, and implement strategies to improve business performance at portfolio companies; collaborate with senior management on Pricing, Go to Market, Change Management, etc.
Market Assessment and Analysis (20%): Conduct industry and trend research, market analysis, and market sizing to address business challenges, evaluate M&A targets, and support Sales and Marketing growth.
Reporting and Dashboarding (10%): Create insightful reports and dashboards to consolidate key findings and provide data driven insights for executive decision making.

Support leaders in strategic planning and long term business strategy development.
Collaborate across departments like Finance, M&A, and portfolio teams.
Assess organic growth opportunities and contribute to fostering a culture of innovation.
Conduct research and analysis to formulate strategy recommendations.
Analyze and synthesize key insights from diverse data sources.
Undertake any special projects as required.
Support the adoption and sustainment of transformation initiatives across portfolio companies.

Bachelor's or master's degree in business, economics, engineering, computer science, or related fields.
4–6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar analytical role; backgrounds in technology strategy, organizational transformation, innovation, and operations are particularly relevant.
Past experience with AI/ML concepts and their practical business applications; hands on experience implementing or enabling AI solutions is a strong asset.
Experience working in or advising software or technology companies is an asset.
Strong strategic thinking skills.
Proven ability to engage stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and working sessions to understand business challenges and uncover opportunities for improvement.
Skilled in synthesizing trends into meaningful, visually appealing formats for executives.
Excellent communication abilities and a self starter attitude.
High curiosity, passion for continuous learning and creative problem solving.
Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
Sound knowledge of business financials and operations.
Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to travel occasionally.
