Role Overview
The Business Systems Analyst works within Cognizant's Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security Services Practice.
The role turns operational data into decisions that improve infrastructure performance and service reliability for a major financial services client.
Work Model
- This is a hybrid position located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- The role currently requires approximately one day per week in the client office, subject to project and business requirements.
Analysis and Recommendations
- Analyze infrastructure performance data and operational metrics to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Translate analysis into recommendations that improve reliability, reduce incident volume, and optimize resource utilization.
- Map current infrastructure capability against target business outcomes, risks, constraints, and trade-offs.
Documentation and Operations
- Create and maintain documentation covering configurations, dependencies, standards, and operating procedures.
- Monitor daily operations through dashboards and reporting routines, identify service degradation, and drive remediation.
