Business System Analyst

Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, clinical teams, and technical teams to elicit and document requirements.

Analyze business processes, workflows, and system capabilities to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

Translate business requirements into detailed functional and system requirements.

Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and requirements reviews.

Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Create and maintain user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and business rules.

Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.

Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize requirements and clarify business needs.

Ensure requirements are clearly documented and understood by development and QA teams.

Utilize Jira and Confluence for documentation and requirements management.

Gather and document requirements for healthcare interoperability initiatives.

Work closely with architects, integration teams, and developers to define healthcare data exchange requirements.

Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure solution alignment with business objectives.

Develop use cases, workflow diagrams, process flows, and functional specifications.

Support solution design discussions and impact assessments.

Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.

Validate delivered functionality against documented requirements.

Coordinate defect resolution and requirements clarification during testing phases.

Ensure successful implementation of business and regulatory requirements.

5+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst experience.

Strong work experience on US Healthcare projects in similar capacity.

Experience supporting healthcare interoperability and integration initiatives.

Proven experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and system requirements.

Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.

Worked on similar projects which involved HL7, CCDA, FHIR APIs and FHIR Implementations

Experience supporting cloud-based healthcare integration platforms.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Strong documentation and requirements management skills.

Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and clinical workflows.

Ability to collaborate effectively with business, clinical, and technical stakeholders across all phases of the project lifecycle.
