Role Overview

  • The Business Support & Financial Control Analyst will provide critical financial oversight and business support to ensure effective cost management, accurate reporting, and compliance with internal controls.
  • This role will support operational and finance teams by delivering timely analysis, improving financial processes, and assisting in decision making during a high demand period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support month end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in line with company policies and IFRS standards
  • Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and highlight variances with actionable insights
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations
  • Partner with operational teams to provide financial guidance and cost optimization strategies
  • Analyze financial performance trends and provide recommendations to improve efficiency
  • Support forecasting and budgeting processes for assigned departments
  • Assist stakeholders in understanding financial implications of business decisions
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and audit requirements
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen financial controls
  • Utilize financial systems and tools to extract and analyze data

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or business support roles
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Contract Details

  • Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension based on business needs)
  • Immediate or short notice availability preferred
  • Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid QID
  • Must be under family sponsorship or freelance visa able to provide secondment paper.
