Business Analyst – CEO Office (Commercial & Operations)

Reporting To

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO)

Position Overview

Crossroads Insurance Brokers LLC (CRI) is seeking a highly driven, analytical, and execution-focused Business Analyst to support the CEO and GCEO in driving commercial performance, operational excellence, strategic coordination, and executive governance across the organization.

This role serves as a critical link between leadership and business functions by ensuring seamless follow-up, business visibility, reporting accuracy, and execution tracking across departments.

The incumbent will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through data analysis, management reporting, dashboard creation, KPI monitoring, and business intelligence.

In addition to business analytics responsibilities, the role will oversee executive coordination functions including leadership calendar management, meeting governance, action tracking, management follow-ups, and preparation of executive-level reports and presentations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong business acumen, exceptional organizational skills, analytical capability, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced leadership environment with high levels of professionalism and confidentiality.

A. Strategic Business Analysis & Executive Support

  • Support the CEO and GCEO in strategic business planning, operational reviews, and organizational performance monitoring.
  • Analyze commercial and operational data to identify trends, risks, business gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare executive summaries, business insights, management reports, and strategic review presentations.
  • Assist leadership in evaluating business growth initiatives, operational efficiency, and profitability metrics.
  • Conduct market intelligence, benchmarking, and competitor analysis to support business decisions.
  • Drive data-backed decision-making through accurate analytics and reporting mechanisms.
  • Support strategic projects, transformation initiatives, and cross-functional business improvements.

B. Commercial Performance Monitoring

  • Track sales performance, business growth, revenue trends, pipeline movement, and renewal performance.
  • Monitor achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets across departments.
  • Coordinate with commercial teams to consolidate business data and generate performance insights.
  • Prepare commercial MIS reports and dashboards for management review meetings.
  • Monitor pending business activities, escalations, approvals, and operational bottlenecks impacting commercial performance.
  • Assist leadership in evaluating productivity, profitability, and performance efficiency indicators.

C. Operational Analytics & MIS Management

  • Design, maintain, and enhance management dashboards and MIS reporting frameworks.
  • Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reports.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs, SLA adherence, turnaround time (TAT), and operational productivity metrics.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of business data and reports across departments.
  • Develop automated reporting structures and trackers to improve reporting efficiency.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure timely submission of reports and operational updates.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve operational effectiveness and reporting visibility.

D. CEO Office Coordination & Governance

  • Manage and coordinate the calendars, meetings, and schedules of the CEO and GCEO.
  • Organize leadership meetings, business reviews, strategy discussions, and management follow-ups.
  • Prepare professional Minutes of Meeting (MOM), action trackers, and follow-up summaries.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and closure of management action points across departments.
  • Coordinate communication between executive leadership and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Assist in prioritizing strategic tasks, pending approvals, and key business deliverables.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information, reports, and leadership discussions.
  • Support preparation of board presentations, management decks, leadership reports, and executive correspondence.

E. Reporting Governance & Business Coordination

  • Maintain centralized trackers for business reviews, strategic initiatives, operational follow-ups, and project status.
  • Ensure adherence to reporting timelines and executive governance standards.
  • Support leadership in preparation for audits, reviews, compliance discussions, and business meetings.
  • Monitor execution progress of strategic and operational initiatives across the organization.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure alignment with management priorities and business objectives.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Power BI, Tableau, or reporting automation tools preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, HRMS, and business reporting systems
  • Strong presentation and business documentation skills

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Analytics, or related discipline
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience Requirement

  • 4–8 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, MIS Reporting, Commercial Operations, Executive Coordination, Strategy Support, or Business Excellence functions
  • Prior experience supporting C-level executives or leadership teams is highly preferred
  • Experience within insurance, brokerage, financial services, consulting, or corporate environments will be an added advantage
