Business Support Analyst
Join our finance team as a Business Support Analyst and play a key role in keeping our operational and financial processes running smoothly.
You’ll support intercompany activity, cost allocations, audits, revenue tracking, and credit control, helping ensure accurate reporting and strong financial governance across the business.
What You’ll Do
- Intercompany Journals and Cost Allocations
- Prepare and process intercompany journal entries.
- Support allocation of general costs to the correct profit centres.
- Identify manual processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Government-Funded Event Audit Assistance
- Support event readiness by coordinating daily cash and card reconciliations.
- Assist with F&B partner and revenue share partner reconciliations.
- Post‑event, compile and organize documentation for government audits, including invoices, proof of payments, and other supporting records.
- Credit Control Team Support and Monitoring
- Assist the credit control team with finance- or system-related resolutions.
- Monitor credit control processes to support cash optimization and reduce outstanding receivables.
- Revenue Tracking and Management Dashboard Support
- Track revenue streams and ensure accurate reporting for management dashboards.
- Maintain data integrity and provide basic insights to support decision-making.
- Cost Accrual Monitoring and Tracking
- Monitor and track cost accruals versus forecasts and actuals.
- Escalate overspending concerns and support teams in identifying necessary accruals.
- Provide basic guidance on cost management processes to cross‑functional teams.
What You’ll Bring
- 3 - 5 years of strong understanding of core finance processes, including intercompany transactions, cost allocations, and accruals.
- Experience supporting financial operations, reporting, or audits.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, IBM TM1, or other FP&A tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach when working across teams.
Nice To Have
- Experience supporting government-funded event audits or similar compliance processes.
- Basic knowledge of management reporting and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives in a finance context.
