Role Overview
Manage and support business IT solutions aligned with IKEA strategy across territories.
Translate business needs into technical requirements and maintain alignment with IKEA and Al-Futtaim standards.
Guide ERP module and IT tool implementation across IKEA stores and warehouses in the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, and Oman.
Solution Scoping
- Determine which business requirements should be improved and how functions integrate into solutions.
- Elicit requirements through interviews, document analysis, surveys, and site visits.
- Translate business requirements into workflows integrated with critical software.
- Define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
- Develop business case justifications and cost-benefit analyses for initiatives.
- Plan and evaluate team work to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Ensure IT processes, procedures, and standards are followed across territories.
Digital and Multichannel Retailing
- Manage enterprise project rollouts and service packs or hot fixes with minimal business disruption.
- Continuously improve Microsoft Dynamics and other IT infrastructure to maximize departmental functionality.
