The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Business Planning Manager to lead strategic planning, business performance management, forecasting, and decision support initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will develop business plans, analyze market and operational performance, coordinate cross functional planning activities, and provide actionable insights that support executive decision making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business planning frameworks, methodologies, governance processes, and strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead annual business planning, strategic planning cycles, operating plans, forecasts, and performance reviews across business functions.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Product, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to align business priorities and execution plans.
  • Analyze business performance, market trends, competitive intelligence, financial results, and operational metrics to identify growth opportunities and improvement areas.
  • Develop business cases, investment proposals, scenario analyses, strategic recommendations, and executive decision support materials.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including revenue growth, profitability, operational efficiency, customer performance, market expansion, and strategic initiative progress.
  • Establish business performance management processes including reporting frameworks, dashboards, scorecards, and review mechanisms.
  • Support resource planning, budget alignment, portfolio prioritization, and strategic initiative management.
  • Conduct market research, industry analysis, customer insights, and competitor assessments to inform business strategies.
  • Partner with Finance teams on forecasting, financial modeling, profitability analysis, and business performance reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, automation, analytics, and data driven planning.
  • Prepare executive presentations, business review materials, strategic reports, and recommendations for senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Strategy, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or professional certifications such as MBA, PMP, CFA, CIMA, ACCA, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business planning, strategy, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate development, management consulting, or related roles.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing strategic planning initiatives, business performance programs, or cross functional teams preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business strategy, operating models, financial analysis, forecasting, performance management, and organizational planning.
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial planning tools, CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, business intelligence tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and executive recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing strategic objectives, operational requirements, and business performance goals.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in remote and hybrid environments.
