Role Description
- The Owner (Intern) role is an internship position designed to support BYEI’s programs, outreach, and organizational development.
- This is a hybrid role, based in Gulshan, with a mix of on site responsibilities and some work from home flexibility.
- Day to day tasks may include assisting with project coordination, supporting environmental awareness campaigns, contributing to content for social media and communications, and helping organize workshops or youth engagement events.
- The intern may also participate in research on environmental and social issues, maintain documentation and reports, and collaborate with team members and volunteers.
- The role offers hands on experience in nonprofit operations, youth leadership development, and sustainability focused initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in environmental sustainability, youth development, and social inclusion, with motivation to contribute to BYEI’s mission.
- Basic skills in communication, writing, and presentation, with the ability to engage diverse youth and community stakeholders.
- Organizational and coordination skills, including the ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and support events or projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team, show initiative, and adapt to both on site and remote work settings.
- Familiarity with social media, digital tools, or basic office software (e.g., word processing, presentations, spreadsheets) is beneficial.
