Business Information Architect

The Information Architecture, Intelligence & Analytics, or IAIA for short, is part of the broader Genetec Offerings & Transformation department that is tasked with managing some of the major lT transformation projects within our organization. IAIA is responsible for designing and managing data architecture and warehousing solutions, analyzing and interpreting data for insights, and developing BI solutions—including dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data models—to transform raw data into actionable intelligence for strategic and operational decision-making.

The goal of the Business Information Architect is to define the overall structure, standards, and integration of data systems to ensure that data is organized, accessible, and aligned with business needs.

Genetec is looking for an experienced Information Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team. In this critical role, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and technology capabilities. They will be tasked with gathering and documenting business Information requirements from stakeholders, translating these into technical specifications, and liaising with the Digital Information department to ensure alignment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both business analysis and information analysis, with a strong ability to dissect complex data, recognize trends, and communicate impactful insights in a clear and concise manner. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of both business needs and IT capabilities are essential for this position.
