Responsibilities
- Establish and communicate business development strategy and targets for region and/or market
- Analyze customer strategies, future product plans, and expansion activities to develop penetration strategies
- Cultivate customer relationships, deliver effective proposals, and negotiate contracts to capture profitable new business
- Brief and leverage executives on strategy and tactics to enhance customer relationships and consummate deals
- Establish and hold direct and matrix team accountable for proposal objectives and deliverables
- Lead planning, design, and implementation of customer specific business plans
- Facilitate communication among all parties to manage vital relationships and conduct quarterly business reviews
- Work across functions on complex matters to influence fair outcomes and deployment of project resources
- Represent and provide market exposure at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Requirements
- BS in Business Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years in services background, with at least 4 years in leadership role
- Strong sales leadership experience in leading teams, growing revenue, and delivering results
- Proven B2B sales experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management industry
- In depth knowledge of assigned countries' economies
- Demonstrated success in developing sales plans, analyzing profitability, and understanding competitive influences
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations
- Ability to develop strong business relationships within all levels of organizations, including senior level executives

Job Specifications
