Job Description**
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and securing new client engagements related to Corporate Tax (CT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Excise Tax, and E-Invoicing advisory and compliance services in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
The role involves assessing client tax compliance requirements, promoting the firm’s tax advisory services, and coordinating with internal tax consultants to deliver tailored tax compliance, advisory, and digital tax solutions to clients across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Corporate Tax (CT), VAT, Excise Tax, and E-Invoicing services.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients across various industries.
- Conduct client meetings to assess tax compliance requirements and advisory needs.
- Promote services including tax registration, return filing, compliance reviews, tax advisory, and e-invoicing implementation.
- Prepare proposals, engagement letters, and service agreements for tax consultancy services.
- Coordinate with internal tax and compliance teams to ensure effective service delivery.
- Stay updated on UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations, including CT, VAT, Excise, and E-Invoicing developments.
- Participate in networking events, seminars, and industry activities to generate leads.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and expanding tax advisory services.
- Maintain records of leads, proposals, and client engagement activities.
- Achieve assigned business development targets and revenue goals.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Taxation, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development within tax consultancy, accounting firms, or professional services.
- Working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and Excise Tax regulations under the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
- Familiarity with ERP systems, accounting software, and digital invoicing platforms is an advantage.
