Role Overview

  • ONFTECH AL ARABIA is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our growing team in Riyadh.
  • This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, supporting lead generation, client communication, proposal preparation, and coordination with internal teams.
  • Offering more responsibility while still receiving guidance from senior BD leadership to building strong relationships with banks, fintechs, and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and support new business opportunities across banks, fintechs, and enterprises.
  • Build and maintain client relationships under the supervision of senior BD staff.
  • Participate in client meetings, document requirements, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist in lead qualification and opportunity tracking.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, MoUs, and commercial documents.
  • Support negotiations by gathering information and coordinating papers.
  • Conduct focused market research and maintain awareness of fintech/RegTech trends.
  • Gain working knowledge of SAMA, CMA, ZATCA, and related regulatory environments.
  • Work closely with Product, Projects, and Tech teams to relay client requirements.
  • Ensure proper tracking and follow up of opportunities through CRM and BD tools.
  • Represent ONFTECH in exhibitions, workshops, and external meetings.
  • Support marketing initiatives, including content, case studies, and branding activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the FinTech, banking, or enterprise technology sector in KSA.
  • Strong understanding of the Saudi banking ecosystem, regulatory environment, and key stakeholders (SAMA, CMA, ZATCA, etc.).
  • Proven track record in enterprise sales cycles and closing B2B deals, preferably with banks or financial institutions.
  • Experience in responding to RFPs/RFQs, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
  • Good knowledge of financial systems, digital banking, regulatory technology, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Self motivated, results driven, and capable of working independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel within and outside the Kingdom as per business needs.
  • Candidate must be Saudi National.
