Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer facing events including lunches, breakfasts, relationship building meetings, and other networking activities by managing all logistics, reservations, scheduling, confirmations, and communications.
  • Ensure internal team members are prepared for customer engagements and accountable for attendance, meeting objectives, and follow up actions.
  • Maintain and manage the Opportunities module in partnership with the estimating team, ensuring opportunity data remains accurate, up to date, and actionable.
  • Support proposal development efforts through content creation, writing, editing, formatting, and presentation preparation.
  • Develop professional slide decks and presentation materials for scope reviews, customer interviews, and business development meetings.
  • Attend industry events and assist in identifying networking, business development, and market opportunities relevant to company growth objectives.
  • Track event participation and potential business opportunities generated through industry involvement and customer engagement activities.
  • Coordinate customer entertainment and relationship building events, including golf outings, conferences, and multi day activities.
  • Maintain the manpower loader with current and projected opportunities to support operational planning and workforce forecasting.
  • Track joint venture (JV) opportunities, including bidding activity, partner involvement, and project outcomes.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with leadership, operations teams, estimators, finance personnel, customers, and industry partners.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.

Basic Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience and/or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in marketing, business development, event coordination, communications, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Ability to support business development initiatives through event planning, relationship management, and brand awareness activities.
  • Experience creating and editing professional proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and event logistics simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records, data, and reporting.
