Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities, drive lead generation, and build a strong sales pipeline within the logistics and freight forwarding sector
- Conduct market research, analyze trade lanes and customer segments, and prepare proposals and presentations tailored to client needs
- Engage with prospective and existing clients, manage relationships, provide responsive customer service
- Coordinate closely with operations and pricing teams to ensure competitive and accurate solutions
- Track performance metrics, contribute to sales forecasts, and support continuous improvement of business development processes and strategies
Requirements
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and follow up
- Market Research capabilities to assess industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Customer Service skills to provide professional, timely support and maintain strong client relationships
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain solutions, in Qatar
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate effectively in a multicultural, fast paced environment

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Business Development Specialist role based in Doha, Qatar.
- The specialist will focus on identifying new business opportunities, driving lead generation, and building a strong sales pipeline within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
